Surfside Beach is Nantucket's go-to surf spot, catching more swell than the protected north shore. The waves break over sandy bottom with enough push to keep things interesting, especially during fall and winter swells. It's a scenic, somewhat remote session with fewer crowds than mainland breaks. When the Atlantic fires, Surfside can deliver surprisingly solid surf.
